The Era of Honor Beings was a wrestling show held by Ring of Honor. It took place on February 23, 2002 at the Murphy Recreational Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. ROH’s debut show, The Era of Honor Begins was headlined by up-and-coming independent wrestlers Low Ki, ”American Dragon” Bryan Danielson and Christopher Daniels in a three-way match, as well as a match between Eddy Guerrero and Super Crazy in the second time they faced off against each other in their careers.

- Da Hit Squad (Mafia & Monsta Mack) greet and hype up New York fans who travelled to Philadelphia by bus and a group of Boston fans outside of the arena. Spanky has a small cameo in this pre-show segment.
- The Christopher Street Connection (Buff E & Mace w/Allison Danger) opened to show by cutting a promo. Buff E said that several wrestlers in the back said their kind wasn’t wanted in Ring of Honor, and asked the fans if that were true. Buff E then said that “ROH” was now going to stand for “Ring of Homosexuals”. Da Hit Sqaud ran out from the back and attacked the two, starting an impromptu match.
- Da Hit Squad (Mafia & Monsta Mack) defeated the Christopher Street Connection (Buff E & Mace w/Allison Danger) (1:10)
- After the match, Da Hit Squad powerbombed Danger through a table. Mafia then cut a promo, saying that Ring of Honor is not about “sports entertainment and stupid gimmicks” but about the sport of professional wrestling.
- Jay Briscoe (w/Mark Briscoe) cuts a short backstage promo.
- The Amazing Red delivers a short backstage promo.
- The Amazing Red defeated Jay Briscoe (w/Mark Briscoe) (8:30)
- A pre-recorded Low Ki promo airs.
- Taped Homicide & Boogaloo promo from an abandoned lot. They explain their background and find a rubber chicken.
- Xavier gives Towel Boy a pep talk backstage.
- Scoot Andrews gives a pre-taped promo backstage.
- Xavier defeated Scoot Andrews (10:06)
- The Natural Born Sinners chase some people around backstage with chainsaws.
- The Boogy Nights (Mike Tobin & Danny Drake) defeated the Natural Born Sinners (Homicide & Boogaloo) by disqualification (7:34)
- Referee HC Loc disqualified the Sinners after Homicide attacked Tobin and Younger with a rubber chicken.
- After the match, Homicide attacked the referee with a Spike before giving him a Cop Killer.
- Danny Drake and Mike Tobin are seen leaving the arena quickly.
- Buff E and Mace nurse their wounds and wonder if they are cut out for Ring of Honor. Buff E sees Spanky dance by and decides he wants to stay.
- Towel Boy dries the ropes.
- Quiet Storm defeated The Amazing Red, Brian XL, Chris Divine, Jose Maximo, & Joel Maximo in an Ultimate Aerial Elimination Match with Mike Whipwreck as the guest referee (15:56)
- Jose Maximo eliminates The Amazing Red (10:03)
- Chris Divine eliminates Brian XL (10:28)
- Quiet Storm eliminates Jose Maximo (11:36)

- The Natural Born Sinners are upset about their loss. They chase off the camera man.
- Prince Nana is told that they found an opponent for him. Rob Feinstein is seen sending "The Towel Boy" Eric Tuttle to the ring to fight Prince Nana. Steve Corino shouts words of encouragement to Tuttle.
- Prince Nana defeated Towel Boy (0:53)
- Backstage Michael Shane tells Ikaika Loa, Oz, and Spanky that they will remains friends after the match.
- Spanky & Ikaika Loa defeated Michael Shane & Oz (12:29)
- As a result of scoring the pinfall, Spanky won a ROH contract and will be flown to all future shows.
- Backstage Brian XL, Chris Divine, Joel Maximo, Jose Maximo, Quiet Storm, and The Amazing Red are arguing. Mikey Whipwreck tells them to shut up, then brings in Super Crazy as a translator to yell at them and make a match for next month. Afterwards they go back to arguing.
- Loc is seen backstage calling someone to help get some revenge on Homicide and Boogaloo.
- Super Crazy defeated Eddy Guerrero to win the IWA Intercontinental Championship (10:42)
- After the match Super Crazy is congratulated by several people backstage while Christopher Daniels just shakes his head.
- Low Ki delivers a promo in front of some trophies.
- Low Ki defeated Christopher Daniels and American Dragon (20:05)
- After the match, Dragon challenged Low Ki to a singles match at the next show to see who the better wrestler is, but Daniels took the microphone away before Low Ki could answer. Daniels then turned heel and told the two to “go to hell”, because it had taken both of them to defeat him. Daniels then said that if he had to wrestle the two of them in two singles matches on the same night, he could beat them both. Low Ki then challenged Daniels and Dragon to compete in a Round Robin Tournament at the next show. Low Ki and Dragon then shook hands and offered to shake Daniels, but he turned walked away from both of them, break the “Code of Honor”
- Eddy Guerrero is backstage and cuts a promo hyping Ring of Honor.
- After a highlight reel, Christopher Daniels scoffs Ring of Honor before he leaves.
