Nuufolau Joel Seanoa (born March 17, 1979 in Orange County, California) is an American professional wrestler better known by his ring name Samoa Joe. Currently competing for Total Nonstop Action, Joe is well known from his time in Ring of Honor as well as it’s sister promotion Full Impact Pro.
In ROH, Joe held the ROH Pure Championship and was the longest reigning ROH World Champion in ROH history. During his time in ROH, Joe has several memorable feuds against several of ROH’s top stars, including Homicide, CM Punk, Christopher Daniels, Bryan Danielson and the Briscoe Brothers, and was a key player in ROH’s feud with Combat Zone Wrestling.
